New or significantly modified features not correctly represented by the existing shape file were digitized from the new imagery. New or modified driveways were interpretted within the constraints of that technology and the visibility of features on the photography.

Initial data was provided for City review. In conjunction with incorporating City comments, a final, comprehensive review was performed using the photogrammetric planimetric polygon coverage deliverables developed as part of the opverall City of Medford 2016 city wide update.

Planimetric polygon coverages were used for final verification of surface type, to add all key entrance/exit locations for parking lots and to identify any centerlines missed during the initial update. Final surface type attributes were derived from the planimetric polygons; within the project update boundary all prior "unsure of surface" attributes were replaced with the surface type determined from the photogrammetric updates. Final revisions incorporated the City comments and revisions identified during review against the planimetric polygon data. All driveways / parking routes digitized are intended to connect to another driveway, a street centerline or alley (as contained in City provided data sets). In some cases, there were road features in the polygon coverage not identified by a street centerline in the City's source data and not addressed by City comments. Those were included and attributed as roads in this centerline coverage.
